Paduano & Weintraub Employment Practice Recognized by Chambers

Updated: Jan 16

Paduano & Weintraub LLP is pleased to announce that it has been ranked by Chambers in its inaugural Regional Spotlight New York Guide for Labor and Employment. Spotlight rankings recognize small and medium-sized firms with established expertise in specific practice areas. Paduano’s Employment Practice, led by Meredith Cavallaro, is one of few management firms recognized for Labor and Employment in the Regional Spotlight New York Guide.

Our Employment Group represents employers of all sizes, from small family-owned businesses to large public companies, in disputes brought by current and former employees in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels and administrative agencies throughout the country.

We regularly counsel clients in risk management by providing proactive solutions to workplace issues. We work with clients to create and implement compliant and practical policies and practices to build a workplace infrastructure that balances business needs and legal compliance while mitigating short and long-term risk. We provide individual and group training for management on preventing and responding to complainants of discrimination and harassment, as well as how to use effective performance management to mitigate legal risk. Our team responds to and manages the complex issues that arise from workplace crises, including high-risk sexual harassment complaints.

In addition, our private equity clients rely on us to manage employment diligence in connection with the purchase and sale of private and public companies. We also negotiate and draft employment, restrictive covenant, and separation agreements.
