Kathleen Linnane is an Associate in the Firm’s New York office, where she focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling.

Prior to joining Paduano & Weintraub, Kathleen was Senior Counsel with the New York City Law Department's Labor & Employment Law Division, representing the City in employment matters involving discrimination, harassment, and unlawful termination in state and federal courts. Kathleen's experience includes defending the City in multi-plaintiff lawsuits involving claims of cross-agency misconduct and advising the Law Department and City agencies on unique issues, including litigation concerning matters of policy and compliance in the ever-evolving workplace culture and COVID-19 requirements.

Prior to joining the Law Department, Kathleen worked in an advisory capacity with organizations in various industries on matters of human capital management,
reductions in force, process management, compliance,
and has delivered leadership and compliance training across all levels of management and staff.
Kathleen is an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Law at Brooklyn Law School, where she leads a seminar on leadership and change within the practice of law.
Kathleen was awarded the 2024 New York City Bar Association's Municipal Affairs Award for her work on behalf of the City.
