Ari concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Ari has represented public and privately-held companies operating in a wide variety of industries, including financial institutions, monoline insurers, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies, cannabis companies, and entertainment companies, as well as directors and officers, and individuals in their personal capacities. Ari has represented clients in connection with threatened and actual litigations relating to mortgage-backed securities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and service arrangements, as well as Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission FCPA and accounting-related investigations, and RICO and consumer fraud litigations. Ari has also advised corporations on governance issues and has conducted internal investigations in response to, and in anticipation of, regulatory inquiries and commercial litigation.
Ari has been recognized by the New York State Bar Association and the Legal Aid Society for his pro bono work on several occasions. He has helped public housing tenants facing eviction, disabled persons challenging social security and other benefits denials, foreign-born persons seeking asylum in the United States, and non-profit groups in a variety of situations, from starting up to resolving employment disputes. Ari has represented clients in housing court, in administrative hearings, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Ari practiced in the litigation department of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York for eight years prior to joining Paduano & Weintraub.
