Kerry Burns is a commercial litigator focusing her practice on business and employment litigation and counseling.

 

Kerry has represented global corporations, financial institutions, and individuals in both state and federal court and before federal, state, and city agencies.  She has also represented clients in regulatory investigations by the SEC and DOJ in matters involving securities law violations, and in employment disputes on behalf of management defending against claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, under federal, state, and city laws.

 

Kerry has also represented numerous pro bono clients in partnership with Sanctuary for Families relating to issues of domestic violence, and with the Legal Aid Society for criminal defense work.  She has been recognized by both these organizations for her efforts on behalf of their clients.

 

Prior to joining Paduano & Weintraub, Kerry was an associate with Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York.
