Kerry Burns is a litigation associate at Paduano & Weintraub LLP. Her practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, as well as government and internal investigations.
Kerry has represented global corporations, financial institutions, and select individuals across a broad range of business matters, including white-collar defense, contract disputes, and First Amendment law. She has experience advising clients in internal investigations and inquiries by the DOJ, SEC and other governmental agencies, including on matters involving anti-bribery and corruption and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Kerry has also represented numerous pro bono clients in partnership with Sanctuary for Families relating to issues of domestic violence, and with the Legal Aid Society for criminal defense work. She has been recognized by both these organizations for her efforts on behalf of their clients.
Prior to joining Paduano & Weintraub, Kerry was an associate with Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York.
